Woodsley Terrace is an important building in an excellent campus location housing student family tenants and a few couples. We ask all tenants to take pride in the building whilst living there and make it their home.

Your responsibilities - If you see litter in the garden or the communal areas, pick it up and put it in the bin. Respect your neighbours when it comes to noise levels and have consideration when using any communal spaces. If you have a balcony, take care to ensure it looks presentable.
Report any repairs or damage to Unipol, so we can keep the building well maintained and a pleasant environment for all tenants.

Woodsley Terrace/Mount Preston Street;
Mail and parcels - General post (letters and parcels that can fit through the letter box in your door) is delivered directly to flat doors by Royal Mail.
Private couriers will use the intercom to ring flat doors to deliver. If no one is home the driver will leave a missed collection note in the communal area of the block
Fire alarms - are tested weekly on a Wednesday by Unipol staff. The main fire panel for Woodsley Terrace and Mount Preston Street is located in Block 1-6 Woodsley Terrace and everyone’s key works on the communal door to this block. All tenants are reminder to familiarise themselves with the fire alarm system and how to silence the alarm in case of false alarms.
Security - The building has CCTV covering the externals of Woodsley Terrace & Mount Preston Street and the car park/bin store of Woodsley Terrace.
Outside facilities including gardens - There is a private garden and children's play area on the Woodsley Terrace side of the building. There are benches and picnic tables for residents to use. There is also a free library box for a “take a book, leave a book” service.
Parking and bikes - There is a parking permit system for the site. There are two spaces on the Mount Preston Street side of the building and ten permit spaces at Woodsley Terrace. The parking permits are on a ‘first come first served’ basis and paid for on an annual basis. The car park is secured with gate and lock and permit holders are issued with a key. Permits must be displayed in car windscreens.
There are four bike storage bins onsite. These are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis and are free to use.
Energy information for Woodsley Terrace - Tenants can opt to pay for their own gas and electricity costs directly to a supplier or continue to get their supply administered through Unipol

Over the colder winter months we expect families to use more than the monthly billing amount but over the summer months you may use less.

What can I put in the recycling bins?
Communal cleaning - Woodsley Terrace are cleaned once a week by professional cleaners. This happens every Monday.
Local amenities - You can walk down Woodsley Road to a 'go local' for basic supplies.
Health - there is a pharmacy on Woodhouse Lane for medical supplies and prescriptions. Hyde Park Surgery is the local GP (general practitioner)
