This is a city centre location and due to limited arrival space for vehicles, it is not possible for everyone to move in on the same day just before the start of your course, so please consider carefully when you will be able to make the journey and move into your room.
We also ask that only the student and their immediate household travel to the site to limit the numbers of extra people visiting the building at this time.

Driving in the city centre
Nottingham City Centre has traffic restrictions that prevent general traffic from accessing the city centre in order to minimise congestion and to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians. These restrictions apply seven days a week and you need to take care not to contravene them, otherwise it is likely you will receive a fine. Traffweb website details all the restrictions.
Parking
There is no parking on site
Between 9.30am and 3pm on 13th, 14th and 15th September the section of road - Talbot Street - adjacent to the building would be temporarily closed off and available for short drop off per car. Staff would direct you to nearest car park (see below for locations and prices)
Students are not permitted to keep a car within the boundary of Nottingham City Council whilst staying in Sandhills, therefore we recommend that students use either trains, buses or trams to travel around Nottingham.
If you bring your belongings in a car into the City on your arrival day, you must ensure that it is not subsequently kept parked anywhere within the City boundary.
Loading bays near the building are strictly not available for parking and if students are moving in to the building by car, they are required to move their vehicle to the nearby car parks.
We can recommend the following city centre car parks that are close by and then walk to the building or catch a tram/bus as detailed above.
